About Google Public DNS
Google Public DNS (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) is the largest public resolver and the default on many routers and devices.
NetTrace really queries every resolver separately, each with its own timeout. That shows you, for example, whether a DNS change has reached this provider yet, or whether a filter blocks your domain.
NetTrace is an independent service and is not affiliated with Google Public DNS.
